Born 7 April 1943 in Luton, Bedfordshire. Following a musical apprenticeship in the early 60s with Neil Christian, Dickie Pride and the Toggery Five, guitarist Abrahams made a career breakthrough with Jethro Tull and Blodwyn Pig. He embarked on a largely unsuccessiul solo career in 1971. In 1989 it was announced that Mick Abrahams was reforming Blodwyn Pig, and he now continues to perform with the band and as a solo acoustic blues performer.
